The 12-Week HEART RESERVE Build

Build the heart you need now.

A practical 12-week rhythm for understanding where you are, choosing what matters, building capacity steadily, and seeing what changed.

A build, not a reset

The goal is not a smaller life in a smaller body.

The goal is more capacity.

More strength for the stairs. More confidence when effort rises. A clearer view of blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, symptoms, fitness, and recovery across time.

This is not a cleanse, a weight-loss challenge, or a promise to transform health in twelve weeks. It is a practical beginning—one that connects the work you do to the life you want to keep.

The map stays the same

Four lanes. One connected system.

01FLOW

Arteries, circulation, and delivery.

02BEAT

Rhythm, rate, and recovery.

03PUMP

Structure, squeeze, and filling.

04POWER

Capacity for the life you want to live.

The 12-week rhythm

One build. Four phases.

This page shows the architecture. The book and companion tools carry the deeper guidance, medical context, and full weekly plan.

  1. 01
    Weeks 1–4ESTABLISHKNOW IT · CHOOSE

Create a starting point you can return to.

Bring the history, trends, symptoms, prior testing, and capacity you have today into one place. Choose a weekly floor that can survive a busy life. The first four weeks are not about doing everything. They are about making the work repeatable.

  2. 02
    Weeks 5–8BUILDBUILD IT

    Let consistency do the work.

Build movement, strength, nourishment, sleep, and recovery gradually enough to continue. The goal is not punishment or perfection. It is a stronger response to ordinary demand, built through actions you can repeat.

  3. 03
    Weeks 9–11BUILD ROOMBUILD IT

Ask a little more. Recover on purpose.

Progress carefully from doing the work to creating more margin for it. More is useful only when it is appropriate, sustainable, and followed by recovery. Progress should feel purposeful—not reckless.

  4. 04
    Week 12PROOFPROVE IT · RETURN

    Ask the same question again.

Return to the same measures under similar conditions. Notice what changed, what did not, and what deserves a conversation with your clinician. Keep what helped. Adjust what did not. Begin the next build with better information.

What progress can mean

Proof belongs to the promise.

Success is not one watch score, one perfect workout, or weight loss by default. It is useful change measured against the reason you began.

  • 01Ordinary effort feels more manageable.
  • 02Recovery after activity becomes steadier.
  • 03Strength and daily function improve.
  • 04A repeatable movement routine begins to hold.
  • 05Health trends become clearer with appropriate follow-up.
  • 06You know which questions belong at your next visit.

The complete program

The page gives you the architecture. The book shows you how to use it.

The full HEART RESERVE Build goes beyond a public preview without reducing medicine to a checklist or asking every woman to follow the same plan.

Why I built it

“If the tests look reassuring, how do we know the heart is ready for the life ahead?”

Lisa Zahakos is a physician assistant with 23 years of clinical experience, including interventional cardiology and preventive medicine. HEART RESERVE grew from the question she heard across her career—and began asking for herself at midlife.
